Showa is a poem written by O-Sensei which has become the code for Chito Ryu practitioners.
It is recited at the end of each class as a reminder of how to train and live one’s
life to gain the maximum benefits of Chito Ryu karate.

常に武士道精神を忘れず
和と忍をもって成し
